A light that shines every morning

Every morning at 4 a.m., while Altötting is still asleep, the light is already burning in the Chapel of Saint Raphael. We pray the Rosary, celebrate Holy Mass, give the blessing and remain in silent adoration. This happens day after day, and in the evening we gather a second time.

Many of those who join us are not in the chapel. They are connected through our daily livestream: the sick and the elderly who can no longer leave their homes, people far away, early risers and the sleepless. For them, St. Raphael is a piece of home and a source of strength.

All of this is supported by donations alone. To keep it that way, we need your help.

What your donation helps with

  • Maintaining the chapel: heating, electricity, upkeep and insurance for our house in Konventstraße with its chapel, sacristy and meeting room.
  • Celebrating the liturgy with dignity: candles, hosts and altar wine, vestments, liturgical books and flowers, so that every Holy Mass is celebrated with the beauty it deserves.
  • Keeping the livestream running: camera, sound, internet connection and equipment, so that people all over the world can pray with us every day.
  • Passing on the faith: the weekly catechesis, the blessing devotion, adoration on Thursday evenings and our Chapel of Saint Mary of the Holy Angels in Eberstalzell, Austria.

Every gift counts

Whether once or regularly, large or small: every donation helps keep the doors of St. Raphael open. A standing order is especially helpful, because regular gifts, even small ones, give us security for our running costs.

United in prayer

The holy Archangel Raphael, whose name means “God heals”, accompanied the young Tobias on his journey and brought healing and blessing to his home. On parting, he told him: “Prayer with fasting and almsgiving and righteousness is good.” (Tob 12:8)

In this trust, we include all our benefactors and their intentions in our daily prayer. We also regularly celebrate Holy Mass for our benefactors and commend them to the protection of Saint Raphael and all the holy angels.

May God reward you for your help!
